AURA AERO

AURA AERO is a French aerospace group that designs, industrialises and manufactures civil and military aircraft. It was founded in 2018 at Toulouse-Francazal Airport and is led by three engineers: Jérémy Caussade, Wilfried Dufaud and Fabien Raison. Its civil range covers two-seat training aircraft and a hybrid-electric regional aircraft.

• INTEGRAL R: certified two-seat aerobatic training aircraft with a Lycoming AEIO-390 engine, Garmin G3X avionics, +7.5/-7.5 G limits, 150 kt cruise speed, 530 NM range and a whole-aircraft parachute
• INTEGRAL S: tricycle-gear version of the INTEGRAL
• INTEGRAL E: 100% electric version, described as the first in the CS-23 category
• ERA: 19-seat hybrid-electric regional aircraft with 900 NM range, 800 m take-off and landing and Safran ENGINeUS electric motors, in regional, lounge, cargo and medevac versions
• Defence range under AURA M: INTEGRAL M, ENBATA and INTRUDER

Programme status

The INTEGRAL R is certified. For ERA, AURA AERO plans first prototype testing by the end of 2026, a maiden flight in 2027 and market launch before 2030. The INTEGRAL airframes use a wood-carbon structure, built with group company Air Menuiserie, which holds EASA and FAA approval for BK repairs of wooden spars.
