Mattco Forge

Mattco Forge Inc. is a Paramount, California manufacturer of engineered forged metal products for the aerospace, defence, space, oil and gas, transportation and power generation industries, based at 16443 Minnesota Avenue. The company develops, designs, manufactures and tests forgings for the world's major aerospace manufacturers and their subcontractors, and says its team of professionals, from engineering to sales, customer support and manufacturing, is focused on the success of the end customer.

Materials

• Nickel and cobalt superalloys, in use since the 1930s for high strength at high operating temperatures in aerospace, power generation and manned and unmanned spacecraft
• Titanium, offering the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, with processes developed to manage its hydrogen affinity during forging
• Aluminium for lightweight structural components in aerospace, defence and transportation, with attention to residual stresses during heat treatment
• Stainless steels with 13 to 26 percent chromium and carbon and alloy steels

• AS9100D certified for many years and recently NADCAP accredited for metallic materials manufacturing
• Statistical process control, lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement programmes, with capabilities to comply with nearly every pertinent aerospace and non-aerospace material specification
