ASELSAN

ASELSAN is a defence electronics company in Turkey. Counter-drone and air defence

In October 2026 ASELSAN demonstrated GÖKALP, a UAV interception system that detects threats with radar and electro-optical systems and neutralises hostile drones. In the trial the AURA radar detected a target drone and passed data through the DRONEDEF command and control software to the GÖKALP E1 interceptor drone, which destroyed the target by direct impact. DRONEDEF is ASELSAN's counter-drone layer within STEELDOME, Türkiye's layered air defence architecture. In September 2026 it ran a live-fire KORKUT 35 demonstration attended by defence delegations from 12 countries.

Space

ASELSAN showed end-to-end space technologies at the International Astronautical Congress in 2026, alongside its LEO satellite network.
