About Ironfleet

Ironfleet is an AI software company for aircraft maintenance. Its platform, called aviOS, connects the knowledge, records and decisions that sit in different places in a maintenance operation. The aim is to give technicians expert guidance at the point of work and to reduce aircraft downtime.

Users can ask aviOS a question about an aircraft. Answers show their sources, such as manual sections, work orders, release certificates and shift notes. The demo on the site shows a Gulfstream G450 with its hours, landings, open items and next inspection. The platform has areas for aircraft, maintenance, a vault of records, parts and teams.

The company says it helps pull available inventory or quote new parts, give real-time decision support from trusted experts and capture decisions as they are made. It lists four benefits: less downtime, preserved expertise, planning ahead for maintenance and a growing base of knowledge for every technician.

Use cases include expert knowledge capture, real-time maintenance insights, maintenance preparedness, shift knowledge transfer and confidence in aircraft records. The company states four principles. A certificated person makes the call, every answer shows its evidence, the technician who knows the aircraft is respected, and the tool is built for the hangar on desktop, tablet, mobile or voice.

The team includes FAA certificated A and P technicians, software engineers and people who have run flight departments and repair stations. Kevin DeCoster is the chief executive and co-founder, and Cory Smith is the other co-founder. Visitors can book a demo or use the contact form for partnerships, press and careers.
