FuelMaster is the fuel management system made by Syntech Systems, Inc. of 100 Four Points Way, Tallahassee, Florida, a company that has been securing fuel since 1979 and has more than 40 years of experience in commercial fleet and retail fuelling automation. Syntech describes itself as the preferred fuel management supplier for the US military and the Department of Homeland Security, and its customers range from the US federal government and Fortune 500 companies to state departments of transportation, transit operations, municipalities and school districts. Built to military specifications for rugged and extreme environments, FuelMaster units are designed for 24/7 unmanned operation.

• FMLive, the cloud-hosted fuel and fleet management software introduced in 2017 and adopted by the Department of Homeland Security and more than 1,400 commercial customers, giving access to fuel and fleet data in real time on any web-enabled device
• Federally mandated FIPS 140-2 data encryption, an EMV-compliant point-of-sale credit card unit, and telematics for monitoring fleet and driver data
• Units configured for each fuelling operation, backward compatible with earlier systems and designed with an upgrade path, with what the company reports as the highest uptime percentage in the industry

Syntech provides 24/7 personalised customer assistance with support tickets answered in the order received and a target response within one business day, a toll-free support line, a distributor hotline and maintenance plans.
