Frontgrade provides mission-critical electronics for space and defense systems. Its people have worked for more than six decades on complex technology challenges. Frontgrade organizes its product lines into four capabilities. RF Systems covers sensing, amplification, switching, distribution and integrated RF. Mission Processing covers modular compute, storage, networking and edge intelligence. Microelectronics covers high reliability compute, memory, conversion, timing and power. Motion Control covers precision actuation, positioning, stabilization and power electronics.

The company's work is grouped into mission areas. These are space systems, radar, communications, electronic warfare, ISR, and missile and precision strike systems. Its electronics support detection, tracking and response, assured links across distributed and contested operations, and protection across the contested spectrum.

RF Systems products include antennas and apertures, RF amplifiers, RF switching and distribution, rotary joints, waveguide and passive RF parts, and integrated RF assemblies. Frontgrade says its products sustain compute, connectivity, power and motion in harsh environments.

The company says it follows an eight stage signal chain. The stages run from sense and receive, through condition and protect, convert and translate, process and compute, store, time and sync, power, and control and actuate. Frontgrade says it works with customers from early development and technology insertion through production and sustainment.

The company has a long history in space. It says its technologies have supported every crewed U.S. space mission from Apollo 11 through Artemis II. It also says it has supported the world's most demanding missions for more than 40 years.
