CPI

CPI (Competences Pilotage Industriel) is a Luxembourg based engineering services company that helps manufacturers industrialise machined parts on CNC machines, with a sister company in France near Toulouse and a new additive manufacturing arm, CPI Additive. Active since 2004 and certified to ISO 9001:2015, renewed for three years after a November audit, CPI supports aerospace and other precision manufacturers with industrialisation, CAM programming, digitalisation and training.

Services

• Turnkey industrialisation on CNC machines: definition of machining strategies in aluminium, steel, titanium, Inconel, Rene 65 and composites, on 3 to 5 axis milling, turning, synchronised turning up to 12 axes and mill-turn machines, with design of experiments for new strategies and in-machine probing up to closed-door machining
• Design and manufacture of machining fixtures, including pneumatic and hydraulic tooling through partners
• CAM programming of tool paths and probing, optimisation of existing programmes, post-processor conversion to FANUC, Siemens, Heidenhain and NUM controllers, programme simulation and support during machine set-up
• Capacity reinforcement for overloaded teams, cost reduction and ramp-up support
• Training on CNC operation, multi-axis surface machining, lathe machining and Dassault Systemes CATIA, including a quick start programme
• Digitalisation of the CNC workshop and additive manufacturing industrialisation through CPI Additive

Company

CPI exhibits at the Paris Air Show and at Smart Manufacturing Week in Luxembourg, and works with tooling and software partners such as WinTool and DELMIAWorks. Pascal Dine is general director. The company presents its machining industrialisation services to the space and defence supply chain at satellite and defence exhibitions.
