About Argotec
Argotec is a space company that designs and builds small satellites and offers services for space missions. Its main office is in San Mauro Torinese, near Turin, Italy.
The company says it makes its products in its own factory, called SpacePark. Its product areas are platforms, subsystems, constellations, human spaceflight and services. The HAWK platform is its modular microsatellite design. It comes in HAWK Lite, HAWK Plus and HAWK Heavy versions. HAWK Plus carries microsatellites up to 130 kg. It uses stocked modules and lets the team add the payload at the final stage. The company says the platform supports missions from low Earth orbit to deep space.
Argotec also builds subsystems for deep space and low Earth orbit. Its constellations cover telecommunications, remote sensing, navigation and scientific research on Earth, the Moon and beyond. Its human spaceflight work aims to help people live and work beyond Earth.
The services range from a mission control center to astronaut training. Customers can buy them on their own or as a complement to the company's products. One named mission is LICIACube, a microsatellite that watched the first planetary defence mission. The company also lists the HENON mission.
In October, a satellite built through a partnership between Argotec and Rheinmetall Italia reached orbit on a Falcon 9 launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. It supports airspace surveillance, situational awareness and national security. A later satellite launch is planned for 2028. The company also presented technical papers at the IAC 2026 congress in Antalya on autonomous satellite operations and high-volume HAWK Plus manufacturing.
Argotec has offices in Italy, at the European Astronaut Center in Cologne, Germany, and in Melbourne, Florida and La Mirada, California, in the United States. It lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and EN 9100:2018 with AS 9100 D and JISQ 9100:2016 certification. It also holds a gender equality management certification.
