About Emu Analytics

Emu Analytics is a software company in the United Kingdom. It makes Flo.w, an AI-powered platform that helps airlines, airports and rail operators run their daily operations.

The company was founded in 2014. Its founders wanted to help people get where they need to be. They saw that transport operators held huge amounts of data, yet key decisions still rested on separate systems, spreadsheets and personal experience. Flo.w was built to bring those sources together into one clear view. Emu calls this approach Total Operations Orchestration. It reports live deployments on three continents.

Flo.w works in four steps. First, it connects data, people, workflows and systems into a live digital twin. Second, it predicts delays, conflicts and bottlenecks using real-time and past data, AI, analytics and simulation. Third, it recommends the best response and coordinates the teams needed to carry it out. Fourth, it measures the result of every decision, so teams and the software keep improving.

For airlines, Flo.w joins aircraft, crew and ground-event data and helps manage turnarounds. It spots flights at risk of regulatory or operational penalties, so teams can act before costs grow. It gives operations control staff ranked recovery options based on cost, passenger impact and crew availability. It also keeps flight operations, engineering and airport station teams working from one picture during disruption.

For airports, the platform puts aircraft, passenger, baggage and vehicle data into one live view. It tracks assets, people and baggage across the whole airport. AI warns of problems such as baggage system congestion and stand conflicts. Airport operators, airlines and ground handlers stay in step through a shared layer. Users can ask questions in plain language, such as why a stand is delayed. They can also replay past events for training and root-cause review.

For rail, Flo.w brings trains, stations, assets and passenger movement into one layer. It uses predictive modelling to show where small delays turn into network-wide disruption. It also helps controllers choose recovery options that limit the effect on passengers and costs. Work with LNER found 6,155 minutes of hidden delay each day across the East Coast Main Line.

At British Airways' Heathrow hub, Emu reports $3.94 million in validated annual return in 2025. The company says this includes more than 2,800 stand and turnaround interventions and about 1,700 at-risk passengers protected. Customers and partners include British Airways, Heathrow, Qantas, IAG Cargo and LNER. Between 2018 and 2023, Emu also took part in UK Government-funded innovation projects with Transport for London, Transport for Wales and Go-Ahead Group. The company has won five industry awards across rail and aviation.
