Concorde Battery Corporation

Concorde Battery Corporation is a manufacturer of valve regulated sealed lead acid (VRSLA) aircraft batteries based in West Covina, California. In business since 1977, the company makes its Recombinant Gas (RG) series and Platinum Series batteries for business aviation, general aviation, military and emergency back-up use, and also produces sealed lead acid batteries for marine, medical, telecommunications, emergency backup and renewable energy applications. Its batteries are fitted as original equipment by aircraft manufacturers and sold as certified replacements and upgrades.

• RG series sealed lead acid main aircraft batteries, including high capacity certified main battery upgrades such as the RG-390E/30 for the Phenom 100, the RG-380E/53L for the Gulfstream GV and the RG-220 for Air Tractor models
• Platinum Series batteries used in law enforcement, military, medevac and offshore support operations, rated for -40°C to 71°C

• Military batteries supplied to the armed forces since 1977

The company's site has a search by aircraft tool, an aircraft application and replacement guide listing STC numbers, PMA supplements and TSO authorisations for each airframe, plus literature, manuals, technical bulletins, training material and a dealer locator. Batteries are made in the USA.

Cirrus

Concorde publishes a Cirrus SR20 and SR22 battery upgrade brochure covering FAA STC SA01304WI and ANAC STC 2021S03-15. The STC allows the original Gill G243 or Concorde RG24-11M main battery to be replaced with the RG24-15M (24 volt, 13.6 Ah), which the company says meets the Cirrus AFM supplement guidance for the 13.6 ampere hour battery required under 14 CFR 135.163(f) for Part 135 operators. The STC is paperwork only and the battery is a drop-in replacement. A separate brochure covers the SR22T. Cirrus Aircraft also appears in the Featured Partners logo banner on the Concorde home page.
