About Aeroset Technology

Aeroset Technology GmbH is a flight test company based in Lebring, Austria. It runs flight test campaigns and collects flight data, with a focus on business jets. It works as a full-service provider for simulator, certification and modification programmes. Its team is made up of pilots, aviation engineers and flight test engineers. The company says it combines test methods with practical flight experience and aims to be customer-driven and quick to adapt.

Flight test campaigns run from start to finish. The steps are aircraft sourcing and leasing, test definition, instrumentation planning, flights with Aeroset's own test pilots and flight test engineers, and data preparation. Each campaign is built backwards from the way the data will be used, such as simulator qualification, model development or an STC compliance package.

Simulator data packages are a second service. They give the base for high-fidelity training devices, including Level D simulators. Aeroset gathers and checks validation source data and prepares datasets that are ready for qualification. The packages support the move to EASA's capability-based CS-FSTD Issue 1 framework.

Flight data acquisition is the third service. Aeroset supplies instrumentation and recording systems that capture how an aircraft behaves, for use in simulation, certification and analysis. It matches the parameters, recording systems and data structure to the planned use of the data.

Certification support links flight testing, data handling and paperwork to EASA and FAA requirements. It supports type certificate and STC programmes. The company says that joining these activities in one workflow reduces rework.

Project pages show recent work. Aeroset supported Level D simulator data work on the Bombardier Challenger 350 and Challenger 3500. It also covered a full data programme on the Challenger 650 and 605 that produced 88 hours of Level D data. It ran a King Air C90 simulator data campaign from June 2023 to June 2024, with 41 ground and flight sessions and about 45 flight hours from bases near Berlin.

Besides the Austrian headquarters, the company has offices in Pecs and Budapest in Hungary. The company lists partners including Axis Flight Simulation and publishes technical guides on simulators and flight test instrumentation.
