About CFS Aero

CFS Aero is a UK aerospace engineering company with a modern MRO and OEM facility at Warwick, in the Midlands, and a second site at Hawarden Airport near Chester in North Wales. The site also mentions operations in North America. The company has been under new ownership and management since 2012.

It supports five areas of work. The APU division offers APU MRO, including troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls and parts replacement. In turbine work, the UK company is the Part 145 facility and CFS Aero in the US holds the type certificates for the ALF502 and LF507 turbines, so the pair support the global fleet around the clock. It also has test cell capability for off wing turbine support. As an authorised distributor for Rotax aircraft engines, it supplies new engines, genuine parts and technical help to service centres and dealers, and runs Rotax iRMT training courses at its Warwick centre.

Mission systems work uses a fleet of light aircraft to test systems quickly at a lower cost. The R and D team has worked on synthetic fuel, hybrid engines, single lever flying systems, drones and future airframes.

The homepage shows comments from clients. One covers a VIP project. Another is from the RAF Rapid Capabilities Office. A third describes Project MARTIN, in which the company was the airframe and engine partner when an aircraft powered by synthetic fuel set a Guinness World Record on 2 November 2021.

The company will be at MRO Aviation Week in Amsterdam from October 27 to 29. The address is Harris Rd, Warwick, CV34 5FY, and the phone number is +44 (0) 24 7630 5873. The site has a contact form and a vacancies page.
