7 Star Global Hangar

7Star Global Hangar Limited is a privately operated aircraft maintenance organisation (AMO) licensed by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and incorporated in 2012. Based at 205 Rotary Wing, NAF Hangar, opposite the CAFU hangar at MMA2, Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, it states its aim as ensuring aircraft serviceability across Africa and describes its aircraft maintenance capabilities as the biggest in sub-Saharan Africa. The company maintains AgustaWestland, Sikorsky, Bell and Airbus helicopters as well as Boeing, Hawker, Bombardier and Embraer aeroplanes, with a 24-hour support service and a customer service team that typically responds to emails within minutes.

Maintenance and component services

• Maintenance, repair and overhaul covering A to D checks, with maintenance programmes intended to prevent failures before they occur and reduce financial risk
• Non-destructive testing at Level 1 and 2 using eddy current, ultrasonic, dye penetrant and magnetic particle methods, and borescope inspection of engines and APUs
• Wheels and brakes, battery maintenance, an electrical and avionics workshop, and flight data recorder parameter monitoring, download and analysis

• 7Star Global Airlines, an air operator approved by the NCAA to operate within Nigerian airspace
• FBO services with VIP handling specialists arranging landing permissions, VIP ground handling, slot coordination, parking, fuelling, troubleshooting and personnel assignments, plus a VIP lounge and hangar next to the Nigerian Air Force hangar
• Cabin upholstery through partner Santos Aviation, from basic refurbishment of existing seat material to fully customised leather seat and cabin wall panel designs
