1g Dynamics supports users of vibration test systems from its base in Hertfordshire, England. It installs, maintains and repairs all makes of system.

The company's main work is service. It covers preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, system relocation and on-site calibration of vibration controllers and related equipment. Its aim is to keep customers' systems running safely and reliably. When a system gets too old, the company also gives advice on bringing in a new one.

Engineers work around the world. Locally based engineers give overseas customers a familiar contact. They can draw on technical information, in-house facilities and spares stock at the UK headquarters. Technicians travel with the right parts from stock to shorten response and repair times. Annual maintenance contracts are available. Some customers choose a breakdown and repair scheme only. The company also works with environmental test houses.

A coil winding shop rebuilds armatures and field coils for all makes of vibration test system, including air and water field coils. Many spare parts, both mechanical and electrical, are held in stock. Recent growth brought new premises, larger coil winding facilities and bigger spares stocks.

System sales cover new and used vibration test systems. Standard and custom systems are assembled in the UK, then tested and installed by the company. The engineering centre offers full system rebuilds, vibrator refurbishment, amplifier replacement and in-house electronic repair. It also offers system hire, bespoke product design and customer training.

The company runs a UKAS calibration lab and a UKAS test house. The independent test house offers vibration and climatic test facilities, consultancy, qualification and final approval tests. It helps customers read standards such as IEC, BS EN and defence standards.

1g Dynamics was formed in 2017 when two vibration industry firms, Vibratech and CVMSL, joined forces. Its quality system is certified to ISO 9001:2015, and all work is done under it.
