CAPS Aviation is a 100 percent women-owned business aviation support company with locations in Los Angeles and Austin, Texas, providing global aftermarket support for business aircraft products and services since 1983. Founded as Corporate Air Parts and Service by Neil Looy and Dave Chamberlain, it holds FAA Part 145 repair station approval OOCR964K at Van Nuys, California, runs a tool calibration laboratory and delivers FAR 135.331 crewmember emergency training, with a staff that combines more than 100 years of experience and an extensive inventory of rotables.

Services

• Part 145 repair station capabilities with repair options for customer-owned property, plus sales, rentals and other services for liferafts and cabin safety equipment
• Tool calibration in California and Texas with a published capability and price list and certificates of calibration; the team calibrated 6,200 tools in 2022
• FAR 135.331 crewmember emergency training in California and Texas or at the customer's location, emergency drill training, Gulfstream G550 evacuation crewmember training and online courses for pilots, attendants, owners, mechanics and frequent flyers
• Skali, a service giving crews instant video access to doctors in the air using devices already on board, aimed at reducing diversions, stress and downtime
