Bel Aerospace and Defense supplies rugged power, networking and connectivity products for military air, ground and naval use. Its directory listing is in Germany. The company has built power supplies for more than 40 years.

Power conversion is its core line. The company offers rugged off-the-shelf, modified and custom power supplies. They include 28V DC-DC, AC-DC and AC+DC-DC power converters and DC-AC inverters. The range also covers military uninterruptible power supplies and generator control unit power supplies. Its DC-DC converters accept 28 and 270 volt DC input and give from 50 up to 2000 watts. Standard outputs include 5, 12, 15, 24, 28 and 48 volts, and custom ranges are possible.

The products are designed to military standards. They include MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-1399, RTCA DO-160 and DEF STAN 61-5. Examples include a 3U VPX VITA 62 DC-DC supply with a 300 watt rating and hold-up time, and a two kilowatt naval uninterruptible power supply that holds up for 10 minutes at 1.5 kilowatts.

The company also sells power management products. Its power distribution units include a 16-channel unit made for land vehicles. In networking, it offers Ethernet switches, embedded Ethernet switches, networking VPX, rugged routers, media converters, TSN and PoE solutions. A fully managed eight-port military switch, the MILTECH 918, is one of its featured products. It also sells USB hubs and storage devices.

Other lines cover VPX solutions, thermal management with liquid cooling and fan cooling units, and connectivity products. For special needs, the company designs custom solutions to fit a customer's requirements.
