Aviation is its principal market. The company entered the aviation industry in 1997 and the space industry in 2010. Managing director Vahit Ezer-Hagemann joined AES in 1999 in the service department, now the electrical engineering department.

Site and sustainability

The AES buildings in Bremen carry a photovoltaic system of 1,200 square metres of panels producing about 220,000 kWh a year, featured by KLIMAready as a best practice example. AES holds the Climate Protection Company CO2 minus 20 seal awarded at ECOMAT Bremen. The company showed cabin products at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2025 and an onsemi demonstrator at Embedded World 2024.
