Aerobits
Micro avionics and software for drones and UAVs, based in Gdynia, Poland
About Aerobits
Aerobits is a Polish technology company that has operated on the global market since 2017. The business develops miniature avionics systems with a focus on the miniaturization of avionic equipment such as aviation transponders. All solutions are based on patented technology that allows the processing of radio signals on very small surfaces. This concept drives the design of compact modules for unmanned aviation.
The company manufactures OEM modules that function as low level assembly building blocks for miniaturized avionics. These components are integrated into larger unmanned systems by aircraft and drone manufacturers. The product range also includes ready to use plug and play devices for unmanned aircraft as well as ground infrastructure hardware for airspace monitoring.
Aerobits works on the safe integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems into controlled airspace. It creates solutions for Unmanned Traffic Management and supports the Detect and Avoid concept. The company builds micro avionic systems that help maintain safe separation between manned aircraft and drones in shared airspace. These efforts support global standards for drone operations.
The product portfolio includes OEM transponder modules, identification and tracking devices, and ground station receivers. Key product lines include the TT S2 family, the idME series, the TR 1A transponder, and ground stations such as the GS2L and GS3L. Evaluation kits and system accessories are available to support integration and testing.
The company serves almost 725 customers in over 63 countries. Its ground infrastructure is used by air navigation service providers and military organizations. Aerobits collaborates with drone manufacturers and research institutions to advance the integration of unmanned systems into modern air traffic management frameworks across Europe and beyond.
