ADS says it gives more than 3,000 government customers direct access to more than 5,000 manufacturers, including over 2,900 small and non-traditional defense companies, and that its small business partnerships have grown by 21% since 2017. It offers more than 80 ways to buy and subject matter experts in nearly every product category to research, vet and deliver equipment, aiming for on-time and on-budget delivery.

Innovation example

Based on research with Naval Special Warfare and other special operations forces, ADS worked with Mustang Survival to create the RATIS inflatable life preserver unit, which uses programmable inflation that can trigger by depth, time submerged, or both.
