VoltAero

VoltAero is an aircraft company developing the Cassio 330, a general aviation airplane with a distributed hybrid electric propulsion system. It also sells the HPU 210 hybrid powertrain for homebuilt and kit built aircraft. The industrial site and headquarters are at Rochefort Charente-Maritime airport in Saint Agnant, France.

The site says the production configuration of the Cassio 330 has been unveiled for regional transport. It describes safe, efficient and eco friendly flight as the core of the Cassio design.

The HPU 210 was introduced to the North American market at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2025. The site says it combines a high performance thermal engine with an electric motor to deliver extra power on demand.

In July 2025, the company announced plans for a Cassio assembly and innovation centre in Sarawak, Malaysia. The site says SEDC Energy and ACI Groupe expressed interest in buying an equity stake in VoltAero.
