Aero Composite Services - 5-339-A

Aerospace Composites Solutions, known as ACS, makes composite parts and products for aviation. It is based in Morgantown, Kentucky. The company says it offers a full service path from engineering and design to testing, certification and full scale production.

ACS serves three groups. Defense aviation customers get lightweight composite parts to improve aircraft performance. Industrial aviation customers get high capacity tanks that the company designs and builds in house. Business aviation customers work with ACS to improve aircraft capability using composites.

The company says it works as a development partner, not only as a builder to drawings. It joins projects early to help refine designs. It also says it is one of the few approved users of Toray carbon epoxy composite, a material it links to commercial jets.

ACS opened in November 2009 in an old 40,000 square foot building. It was first called Blackhawk Composites Inc. It started with fewer than a dozen people and now has over 75 employees. In early 2025 it opened a new 155,000 square foot manufacturing site.

The company works with local high schools and technical colleges and is a member of the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce. It offers internships and on the job training. The website has a contact form and a careers page.
