True Anomaly

Spacecraft, payloads and software for space superiority

About True Anomaly

True Anomaly is a US defence technology company that describes itself as the only defence technology company focused exclusively on space defence. It designs and builds autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software and space-based interceptors to deliver what it calls decisive capabilities for space superiority, enabling the United States and its allies to secure the space environment and counter threats. The company is based in Centennial, Colorado, with locations in Long Beach, California, Colorado Springs and Washington, DC. In April 2026 it announced a 650 million US dollar Series D fundraise to accelerate space superiority at scale, completed its MX-3 mission in June 2026 and began the VICTUS HAZE mission with the US Space Force the same month.

Products

  • Jackal: a tactical fighter-interceptor and multirole space superiority platform with a modular architecture, high-thrust, high-delta-v propulsion for missions across multiple orbits, multiple mission hardpoints to host sensors and effectors, and a design intended for high-rate manufacturing at a scalable price point
  • Mosaic: a ground-up software platform that turns commander intent into autonomous action, giving operators the ability to orient, decide and act in contested orbital environments; it preserves human judgement in mission planning while delegating execution to autonomous orbital systems, offers AI decision support tools, and uses a single user interface from mission training in high-fidelity simulated environments through to live operations

Mission

The company argues that modern civilisation runs through space: GPS timestamps financial transactions, global logistics depend on precision navigation and air traffic control routes 30 million passengers a day, while space has become a contested warfighting domain. True Anomaly's stated purpose is to enable a secure, stable and sustainable space environment for the US, its allies and partners.

Leadership

The co-founder and chief executive, Even, served as a US Air Force space operations officer during the founding years of the US Space Force, authored six texts used as doctrine and training for military space operations and contributed to the Space Force's capstone publication Spacepower. Co-founder Kyle leads design, development and production after serving as Orbital Warfare Chief. Chief operating officer Sarah Walter previously was vice president of engineering at York Space Systems and chief technology officer at Aero Gearbox International, having begun her career at Rolls-Royce North America. Chief financial officer Mark Seidel was vice president of finance and strategy at Relativity Space, and the senior vice president for space defence, Steve, previously led Azure Space at Microsoft and served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy.
