Solcera

Solcera develops and manufactures advanced technical ceramics in France, continuing a ceramics tradition of more than 200 years. Independent since 2015, the company operates two French sites, at Evreux in Normandy and Moissy, with subsidiaries in Brazil and Germany and a sales office in Spain. It serves aerospace, space, defence, nuclear, agriculture, optics and research customers with products built for extreme conditions of temperature, pressure, wear and corrosion, and is a member of the Normandie AeroEspace cluster.

Manufacturing and innovation

The whole process is integrated in Solcera's plants: powder preparation, forming, heat treatment, machining, assembly and inspection, with prototypes and small to medium series produced in-house. The company has a wide range of techniques for evaluating the chemical and physical properties of ceramics, works in co-development with customers from the system design stage, and builds prototypes to validate new solutions. Long-term partnerships with private and public organisations and an in-house research and development team support its growth.

Values and events

Solcera states values of respect, cooperation and responsibility shared with partners, customers and suppliers. At the Paris Air Show its president, Mr Lisle, accompanied the French prime minister on her visit, and the company recruits production operators for materials preparation.
