Sabena Engineering is an international MRO provider for civil and military aircraft. It offers maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrades, and supports airlines and air forces around the globe. The company says its aim is maximum uptime for each customer's fleet.

Sabena Engineering is part of the Orizio group, an international aerospace ecosystem. Its shareholders include an industrial player and the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Belgium. The company works from its historic headquarters at Brussels Airport and a plant at Brussels South Airport.

Operations span more than 15 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company has over 900 employees and a turnover of 120 million euros. Its Go-Team and Maintenance Control Center provide 24/7 support for aircraft on the ground.

Civil line and base maintenance covers Airbus A300 to A350 types, Boeing 737 to 787 types, and Embraer ERJ 170 and 190 aircraft. Base maintenance includes structural work, corrosion prevention, refurbishment, cabin reconfigurations and the replacement of major components.

Aerostructure and component services include preventive maintenance and repair of airframe structures and components. Spare parts and ship sets are available for exchanges or loans. Engineering, design and manufacturing covers continuing airworthiness management and in house component manufacturing.

Non destructive testing is performed by Level 2 qualified inspectors, available 24/7. Methods include ultrasonic and phased array, X-ray, magnetic particle, fluorescent penetrant, eddy current, radiographic and bond testing. Cabin refurbishment covers galleys, lavatories, floor and sidewall panels, and cockpit seats.

Defence customers include Belgian Defence and NATO. The company integrated the Belgian F-16 Center of Excellence and acquired the activities of Lufthansa Technik Maintenance Brussels and Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International. The company says it is FAA and EASA 145 certified.
