RAVAS

RAVAS is a Dutch company that integrates weighing and measuring technology into hand pallet trucks, electric warehouse trucks, stackers and forklift trucks. Its mobile weighing and dimensioning products help logistics operations, distribution centres and warehouses in many industries optimise their supply chains by producing real time data on material flows. The company marks 40 years of mobile weighing, and its products carry a Made in the Netherlands mark.

Its stated mission is creating intelligence: providing intelligent solutions that let customers improve their logistics processes. The site lists five core values that guide how the company works.

Product groups

• Weighing pallet trucks and warehouse trucks, so that pallets are weighed during internal transport, which the company says is twice as fast as working with a traditional scale
• Scales for forklift trucks
• Weighing solutions for automated guided vehicles and autonomous mobile robots, with sensors that weigh loads while the vehicle is moving
• Weighing beams and a platform scale for static weighing
• RAVAS integration software, which shares data with transport, warehouse and ERP systems by cable, Wi-Fi or wireless connection

Logistics uses

RAVAS offers weighing set-ups for crossdocking and order picking, where weight and volume data can be linked to a warehouse management system. It also serves chemistry and pharmaceutical customers and offers a partner sales academy, a return on investment calculator and answers to frequently asked questions.

RAVAS is certified to ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety. It works with strictly defined procedures from design to assembly and from software development to service, and it offers calibration, verification and certification of its weighing equipment.
