Raptor Photonics

Raptor Photonics designs and makes digital cameras including InGaAs SWIR, VIS-SWIR, CCD, EMCCD and X-ray cameras. They are used in surveillance, scientific, space and industrial OEM applications. Camera families

• Deep-cooled scientific CCD and EMCCD cameras, for example a 1 megapixel back-illuminated model from Teledyne e2v with 13 micron pixels, quantum efficiency above 90% at 525 nm, cooling to -90 C with air and liquid or -80 C with air only, and a 7-year vacuum guarantee protecting the sensor
• A 4 megapixel back-illuminated model with 13.5 micron pixels and deep cooling for long exposure times
• Compact, rugged CMOS cameras for integration into electro-optics platforms, in several resolutions: 816 x 624 with 9 micron pitch for imaging from 0.3 to 1.1 microns, 1944 x 1472 with 4.5 micron pitch, and 4096 x 3008 with 2.74 micron pitch
• A 2848 x 2848 CMOS camera for imaging from 0.2 to 0.4 microns, with sensitivity similar to EMCCD
• Global shutter, progressive scan cameras that deliver real-time, lag-free images at frame rates from 10 Hz to 60 Hz depending on the model
• InGaAs SWIR and VIS-SWIR cameras, and X-ray cameras

Recognition

Raptor Photonics has received a Laser Focus World Innovators Awards gold honour for a product. Its Eagle 1MP camera is shown as one of its main products.
