About Qualified Technologies

Qualified Technologies, also called QTC, repairs and overhauls aircraft environmental control system components. It is an FAA and EASA Part 145 repair station in Upland, California, in the United States. The site says it was started by former engineers from Hamilton Sundstrand and Honeywell after Hamilton Sundstrand closed its Long Beach facility.

The company works on heat exchangers, pre-coolers, oil coolers, air cycle machines, pneumatic valves, temperature sensors, differential pressure switches and hydraulic parts. Its catalog lists 597 or more components across more than 30 aircraft makes. One example is a heat exchanger for the Boeing 787.

QTC says it uses OEM style engineering so it can repair parts instead of replacing them. Customers get electronic status updates and fixed price quotes. The site says the shop tries to cut process times and repair costs.

The founders have more than 100 years of combined experience. The CEO is Sam Qubain and the president is Warren Brown. The shop is near Upland Cable Airport and the UPS and FedEx distribution centers, about 50 miles east of Los Angeles. The address is 2133 Aviation Drive, Upland, CA 91786.

Approvals listed are the FAA Air Agency certificate, EASA Part 145 and UK CAA approval. Customers can search the parts catalog, download a capabilities list or request a quote by sending part numbers and condition. The phone number is +1 909 981 0895.
