Academy 147

Academy 147 is a maintenance training organization for business aviation. It is the European unit of Academy Aviation Group, which also includes Academy Aviation Maintenance Training in the United States, Aviation Training Center Dubai and Academy Aviation Online. Academy 147 was set up in 2014 with EASA Part-147 approval.

The group says it is an approved maintenance training organization. Academy 147 offers courses under EASA Part-147 for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. The American unit offers FAA courses. The Dubai unit teaches dangerous goods and safety subjects, and the online unit offers self-paced courses.

Courses named on the site include B1 and B2 theory and practical training, B1 and B2 differences training, general familiarization, and recurrent training. FAA courses cover maintenance initial, avionics initial and line maintenance training. Training can take place at the customer site or online, and programs can be adjusted to each organization.

The approvals list is long. It names EASA Part-147, UK CAA Part 147, DGCA CAR 147 for India, CAAS SAR Part 147 for Singapore, GCAA CAR 147 for the UAE, CASA Part 147 for Australia, FAA acceptance and ISO 9001. The history says the Malaysian CAAM approval came in 2024. In 2020 it offered instructor-led online Part-147 courses during the pandemic.
