Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC)

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) is a manufacturer of complex metal components for the aerospace, power and general industrial markets, headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon. It makes large structural investment castings, airfoil castings, forged components, aerostructures and critical fasteners for aircraft and engines. PCC began in 1949 as a casting operation of Oregon Saw Chain in Portland, became a separate business named Precision Castparts Corp. in 1953 and was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in 2016.
