Services

Beyond equipment, MICROMACH offers on-demand micromachining for customers who need laser processing without an in-house system, including small to mid-volume batch production of micro drilling, cutting, etching and texturing. Its application engineers run feasibility assessments and rapid iterations for early-stage research and pre-series testing, help move processes from lab to line with parameter tuning, precision benchmarking and tailored recipes for specific part geometries, and co-develop custom solutions integrated into existing production lines, with long-term technical partnership and consulting.

Aerospace applications

For aerospace manufacturers the company drills ultra-fine cooling holes in turbine blades, etches and cuts heat-resistant alloys without microcracks and processes 3D cavities for lightweight components. Electronics work includes micro via drilling and blind holes in printed circuit boards, cutting glass, ceramic and silicon with clean edges, and laser dicing of semiconductor wafers and chip-scale packages. Medical applications include burr-free cutting of stents and catheters, and the company also produces microfluidic channels.
