About Magnus Aircraft

Magnus Aircraft Zrt. is an aircraft maker based in Hungary. Its headquarters are in Pogany, next to the Pecs-Pogany Airport. The site says the headquarters covers nearly 8,000 square metres. The company develops, makes and sells composite aircraft. It says it wants to help many people enjoy flying.

The company's main aircraft is the Fusion 212. The Fusion Sentinel is another model. The site also lists the Fusion Cadet, the Fusion 213 and a simulator. The Fusion 213 prototype completed its first flight. The Sentinel has a three-axis camera with a daylight HD camera, a thermal camera and a laser rangefinder. The site says it can be used for missions day and night.

The fuselage and wing are made from composite materials. The site says the wing has a symmetrical airfoil that helps with flight and aerobatic maneuvers. The canopy is acrylic with UV transmittance under 1 percent. Engine options are Rotax and ULPower.

The site lists several approvals. The FAA approved upset recovery training for the Fusion 212 S-LSA aircraft type. The Fusion type was certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. The Fusion Sentinel received the National Quality Innovation Award in 2021.

The company has a group of subsidiaries and partners. The site lists a showroom in Wuxi, China, and a subsidiary in Uzbekistan. It also lists cooperation with the Chinese cities of Qingdao and Rizhao. The site says members of the group are in the United States, Kenya, Nigeria, Serbia and the Middle East. A first ferry flight to the United States crossed the Atlantic.

The site has pages for governments, schools, dealers, careers and tenders. Contact options include sales, purchasing, spare parts, press and HR. The main phone number is +36 30 412 1129.
