MAAS Aviation

MAAS Aviation is an aircraft painting and exterior coatings specialist headquartered in Northwood, Dublin, Ireland, operating a global network of modern paint shops in the Netherlands, Germany, Lithuania and the United States. With thirteen narrowbody paint shops and capacity to paint 580 aircraft a year, it works in partnership with customers and its supply chain to deliver OEM-standard quality, and is certified to EN 9100, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The company says some customer relationships go back more than 40 years, and it describes itself as a world leader in new aircraft painting.

Sustainability and people

MAAS aims to pioneer environmentally friendly practices in its sector, uses certified 100 percent renewable electricity at its Lithuanian and Maastricht facilities, holds a renewed EcoVadis Bronze sustainability award and reflects its environmental policies in its ESG and corporate activities. Chief commercial officer Richard Marston has discussed painting processes, paint technology and complex liveries with AviTrader MRO 360, Director of Maintenance Magazine, MRO Management and EVA, and the company celebrates a long-term partnership with Ryanair. It recruits aircraft spray painters for its facilities in Germany, Lithuania and the Netherlands with benefits including free accommodation and transport, and exhibits at MRO Europe and MRO BEER.
