About Landrum-Brown

Landrum and Brown is a global aviation consulting firm that puts airports at the center of its work. The company was formed on January 1, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Charlie Landrum and John Brown. Landrum was an architect and engineer. Brown was a business and financial advisor.

The firm says it has worked for more than 70 years on projects across all seven continents, including most of the largest airports in the world. It runs a global network of offices so that clients get local presence and international experience.

Its planning and development services cover activation planning, airfield and airspace, business and finance, commercial development, environmental, ground transportation, master planning and strategy, and terminal planning and design.

Activation planning is the final step of an airport redevelopment. It focuses on four things: facilities, systems, people and processes. The aim is to make sure a new facility can run well once it opens. The site features a project at Los Angeles International Airport.

The company also runs the L and B Lab, its research, development and innovation unit. The site carries a blog, with a post on supersonic travel, a one minute company video and a careers page. A phone number with the 513 area code is listed.
