About Hog Technologies

HOG Technologies designs, builds and supports equipment for pavement maintenance on roads and runways. The company is based in Stuart, Florida, at 3920 SE Commerce Ave. In February 2025 it was bought by Federal Signal Corporation.

The company history on the website starts in 1988, when founder James P. Crocker began a pressure washing business. The first Stripe Hog was developed in 1997. Pittsburgh International became the first airport to own a Stripe Hog in 2007. The business was called Waterblasting Technologies until it became HOG Technologies in 2019. Vince Giordano has been president since 2023.

For airports, the main products remove rubber from runways and clear old pavement markings. The Stripe Hog SH8000 is a water blasting unit with 12 gallons a minute. The SK8000 adds an auxiliary engine. The site says its vehicles work at up to 40,000 psi. Other machines handle grinding, grooving and rumble strips. The Grinder Hog uses computer controlled profiling, and the Rumble Hog is a three in one machine for grinding, grooving and rumbling. The company also now sells Liquidators. Tools and attachments include the Hog Tusk, Ground Hog, Hog Rider and Hog Waller.

Buyers can also look at certified Hog equipment and vehicles that are available for resale, and customer owned equipment for sale. The company offers parts, service, customer support and hands on training for operators.

It says it has customers in more than 50 countries and vehicles working in over 80 countries. The website has a contact form, a careers page and phone numbers in the United States, +1 772 214 1714, and in the Czech Republic, +420 573 903 031.
