About D-Fend Solutions

D-Fend Solutions makes counter-drone technology for security teams, with roots in Israel. Its core system, EnforceAir, finds rogue drones and takes control of them so they can land safely. Airports are one of the many places it protects.

EnforceAir finds, locates and identifies rogue drones in protected airspace. It can work on its own or with an operator. It then uses an RF cyber takeover to bring the drone down for a safe landing. The company calls this non-kinetic, which means it does not use force to stop the drone. It can run as a standalone, multilayer or integrated system. The company says its technology came from research into the fast growth of drones and the safety risks that follow.

The product family has several parts. EnforceAir PLUS and EnforceAir2 are the main systems. EnforceAir UX is the operations interface, and EnforceAir Analytics reviews incident data. MSC2 is a multi-sensor command and control system. The company also describes a drone incident lifecycle that covers detection through to the end of an event.

EnforceAir2 comes in many deployment versions. These include tactical, covert vehicle, military vehicle, maritime, stationary, backpack and long-range directional kits. The company also sells deployment bundles for homeland security and law enforcement, and for the military.

D-Fend says EnforceAir has been used by military, law enforcement and homeland security agencies. It has also been chosen for large events, VIP protection, forward operating bases, borders, ports and major international airports. The sectors it names include airports, border protection, maritime, critical facilities, stadiums, prisons, government buildings, media and enterprise.

The company also offers professional services. Training mixes classroom learning about counter-drone methods with hands-on field exercises. A technical support team is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. D-Fend also publishes a drone attack and incident tracker, a counter-drone glossary, white papers, webinars and case studies. Its website is offered in seven languages.
