Hands In
Split payment solutions for airlines and travel platforms
About Hands In
Hands In is a payments technology company that helps businesses accept split payments. It also helps them rescue revenue from payments that fail because of insufficient funds. The company works with airlines, online travel agencies, hospitality providers, cruise lines and payment service providers.
Hands In points to a travel industry worth about 2 trillion dollars, where many online purchases are declined at checkout. Insufficient funds and credit limit blocks are among the main causes. The company says normal payment systems cannot recover a sale once a card is declined.
Its tools include multi payments, which split one basket across several cards, wallets and buy now pay later options. Decline recovery steps in the moment a payment fails and retries the sale as a split across cards. Group payments let each person pay their own share at checkout. Payment links let a lead booker or a whole group pay by link, with equal, fixed or custom amounts and deadline reminders.
For airlines, the company says split payments help convert high value bookings, such as premium cabin and long haul fares. They also let travellers upgrade to new cabins and recover payments that would otherwise fail. A traveller can combine a corporate travel card with a personal card in one booking. The checkout flow lets the customer pick how many payment methods to use, then pay each amount until the total is collected.
Online travel agencies can offer more ways to pay for flights, holiday packages, accommodation and experiences. Hospitality services and ticket providers can split payments for hotels and restaurants. The company has pages for cruises and for payment service providers that want to work with it.
Hands In says it is on track to deliver over 100 million dollars in extra sales in 2027. It is aiming for more than 1 billion dollars in total payment volume within the next few years. It says global brands and payment service providers trust it.
The company has pages on frequently asked questions, press releases, a blog and the company's mission and values.
