Frike electronic

FRIKE electronic AG is a Swiss family-owned company specialising in mobile and temporary traffic technology for road, rail and aviation. For more than 30 years it has supplied signalling, construction site safety and airport equipment, with its own research and development department, custom manufacturing, and a workshop and on-site service for maintenance and repairs. The company is led by chief executive Tim Baur in its second generation, with Peter Baur as chairman of the board.

• StopLane airport barricade system for closing runways and taxiways, installed for example at Bremen Airport as a low-profile barricade
• FLY-LAMP light and FLY-LAMP qube temporary runway and apron lighting, with transport boxes, for temporary landing strips
• ICAO obstacle lights, FOCA-compliant solar obstacle lights, solar aviation lights, crane lights and crane tarpaulins, marking balloons and accessories, with infrared or solar options for self-sufficient operation

FRIKE says its aviation products meet the safety standards of the Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation and ICAO and are supplied to private and state airports and construction companies worldwide.

Other products

The range includes the FRIKE-TMA Compact 100 truck mounted attenuator certified across Europe, The Boss vehicle-ram barrier for events, rumble strip handling machines, traffic guidance and signal trailers, beacons, traffic signs, batteries and solar power, the RAILALERT automatic track warning system for rail, and temporary traffic signal systems rented through partners such as Schick electronic. FRIKE publishes a catalogue and attends trade fairs such as InnoTrans.
