Airsafe Airport Equipment makes complete airfield ground lighting systems for airports. It is based in China and supplies airports on six continents.

The company was founded in Wuhan in 1987 and restructured in 2003. In 2010 it was among the first in China to earn FAA factory quality certification. It says few companies anywhere can supply an airport with the full airfield lighting package.

Airsafe says it serves more than 90 percent of China's civil transport airports and over 700 airports across six continents. Flagship projects include Beijing Daxing, Qingdao Jiaodong and Chengdu Tianfu. Abroad, its products run at Singapore Changi, Madrid and Frankfurt. At Changi it has supplied LED inset taxiway lights, guidance signs and stand identification signs since 2010. At Beijing Daxing it made its largest LED airfield lighting delivery, with over twenty thousand fittings.

Everything is designed and built in house. The range covers approach lighting, runway lighting, taxiway lighting, guidance signs, wind cones and airport beacons, obstruction lights and heliport lighting. It also includes apron high mast lighting, isolation transformers, cable connectors and power supply equipment such as constant current regulators. The company lists 162 products. Many carry ICAO or FAA marks.

Installation accessories and tools are also on offer. These include flanges, cover plates, bases, frangible couplings, calibrators and precision light testing systems. The company also supplies airfield lighting control and monitoring systems, including its I-ALCMS.

Airsafe offers two solution sets. One joins high mast floodlighting, stand signs and docking guidance into one visual chain from taxi-in to push-back. Another covers monitoring for PAPI and sequenced flashing light systems. Airport planners can send the runway category and site conditions and receive a system-level configuration proposal. A technical hotline puts customers in touch with an engineer for commissioning and fault diagnosis. The company offers brochures, certificates and ESG reports, and an interactive guide that links airport zones to products.
