Air Tech Italy

Air Tech Italy (ATI) is the Italian airport industry association, a trade association representing Italian companies that supply products, technologies and services for airports and air traffic control. Founded in July 2020 under the institutional patronage of ENAC, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, it brings together successful Italian companies from all airport-related fields and presents itself as the first hub for international clients looking for Italian suppliers.

What the association does

• Promotes integrated, made in Italy solutions to overseas civil aviation organisations, airport operators, air traffic control managers and government entities
• Organises collective participation at airport exhibitions, such as the Dubai Airport Show
• Maintains a members directory covering airfield lighting, ground support, security, terminals, air traffic control and more, with members such as OCEM Airfield Technology, Cover Technology and UrbanV
• Publishes interviews and articles on sustainability, urban air mobility and Italian airports' results in the ACI EUROPE Best Airport Awards

Members in numbers

The association's site reports that its members have supplied airports around the world, including the 60 largest international airports, and lists their accumulated turnover in the airport business, the share of that turnover in exports, and their representative offices, branches and subsidiaries, mainly in Europe (27) and Asia (24). ENAC and ENAV, the Italian air navigation service provider, support the association. Internationalisation, innovation and sustainability are the main drivers of members and joint projects for the airport of the future. Pier Carlo Aghemo is the association's first general director.
