Flame Aviation
Cabin fire and smoke trainers for airlines and training organisations
About Flame Aviation
Flame Aviation designs and builds cabin fire and smoke trainers for airlines and training centers. These devices are also called real fire fighting trainers. The company is based in Leiden, in the Netherlands, where it has its own engineering team and its own factory.
The company says fire trainers are all it does. Its story began in 2012, when an airline operations director wanted a more realistic cabin fire trainer. The founder, Robin Pijnaker, could not find the right equipment on the market. Two years later the company built what it calls the first cabin fire trainer able to simulate realistic cabin fire scenarios. Staff from several airlines helped to shape the first design, and the first prototype was built at the Leiden factory.
The company says it has the largest installed base of cabin fire trainers in the industry and delivers one new fire trainer every month. It says it talks with airlines, authorities and aviation professionals all the time about fire training and helps shape global standards.
The product range includes the V7000 Brigade, the V7000 Brigade View, the V9000 Commander and the V10 Titan, which is aimed at wide body and long haul operations. Other items are the ARS 1200, courseware, the V7000 Helifire and the S9000 Neptune. The site offers a brochure download, and buyers can ask for a product talk on video, at their base, or a live demo at the factory.
Each year the company lists shows in Orlando, Seoul, Singapore and Oslo. The site has contact links for email, phone, map and WhatsApp.
