ALSIM

ALSIM designs and builds flight simulators for pilot training. The site says it makes fixed base simulators and that the company was created in 1994. The idea came from a software engineer and former Air France pilot.

ALSIM says it has more than 450 certified devices in over 60 countries, and over 400 customers. Its first EASA certification came in 1994, and the timeline lists FAA versions and offices in the US and China later on.

There are two product groups. Generic simulators can mimic several aircraft in one device. They are the Airliner, a B737 and A320 style jet simulator, the ALX, the AL250 and the AL3X. The AL250 is for single and multi engine training for PPL, CPL and IR. The AL3X is a compact light sport aircraft simulator with Garmin G3X Touch. Specific simulators copy one aircraft. They include the AL172 for the Cessna 172, the AL40 and AL42 for the Diamond DA40 and DA42, the ALSR range for Cirrus SR20 and SR22, the AL100i for the Piper Pilot 100i and the AL2006 for the Tecnam P2006T.

ALSIM also sells an APS MCC workbook with advice from an EASA team member. It offers support and immersion services.
