DVI Training Systems

DVI Training Systems (DVITS) provides training tools for defense personnel. The company serves the US government, allied nations and defense industry partners. It specializes in interactive video-based courses for military aircrews and other technical roles. The site does not state a head office address.

DVITS says it tackles three common problems in defense training. They are the link between training material and real tasks, standard delivery, and how well trainees keep what they learn. The courses are modular, so they can be updated and rolled out fast. Learners can use them at any time and at their own pace, in any place.

The site describes a proprietary process and design language for instructional systems design. Content is made to fit into the training setup a client already uses. It is meant to support simulator and live training by teaching team interaction, man-machine interface skills and situational awareness.

Aviation is the core field. The next-gen aviation training covers initial pilot training through advanced and special operations missions. Topics include normal and non-normal procedures, scenario-based learning, dynamic maneuvers, tactical operations and academics. The site says the system trains over 17,000 pilots and crew members in the defense and commercial sectors.

The same method also supports other defense areas. These include weapons and combat systems, maritime and submersible work, and drone operations. Clients can ask for training content adapted to their own culture, policy and procedures.

The leadership team is listed with Matthew Lopes as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder and Glen Davis as Vice President, Training Solutions and Co-Founder. An advisory group of industry veterans and military leaders is announced. The site offers a demo request and a careers page for veterans.
