CIND

Cind AB is a Swedish developer of automated 3D vision systems that capture dimensions, volume, images, barcodes, labels and master data for logistics, air cargo and the forest industry, based at Barnarpsgatan 39G in Jönköping. Created in 2015 as a spin-off from Saab AB, the company set out to automate measurements that otherwise take large amounts of time and manpower, first for stacked timber and later for palletised goods, under the mission of constantly moving supply chains forward.

Air cargo and logistics

• CIND Dimensioner, including the Dimensioner In-Motion system, which automatically generates accurate dimensional and contour data as cargo moves through the warehouse, with real-time freight data capture for pallets
• Stereo camera technology that collects data without additional effort and feeds analytics tools for digitised workflows, less manual work and better decisions
• Deployment by Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company, of the Dimensioner In-Motion across its network as part of its digital transformation, and a Menzies Aviation pilot of CIND's AI-powered cargo technology at London Heathrow
• Customer logos including DHL and DSV, and participation in air cargo events such as Air Cargo China 2026

Forestry

• TimSpect, automated volume measurement for roundwood and woodchips, widely deployed in Sweden and other European countries and regarded as the de facto standard for stacked measurement, with installations such as SCA's Norrsundet port completed within four weeks of order
• Customers such as SCA and Södra, with one wood logistics specialist citing the compact stereo camera equipment and automatic volume calculation of pulpwood stacks on vehicles

Company

Cind says its automated dimensioning gives businesses a competitive edge while helping manage monetary and planetary resources, and that rising fuel and energy costs push logistics organisations to find new efficiencies and reduce their footprint.
