Cargolux Airlines International S.A.

Cargolux Airlines International S.A. is an all-cargo airline headquartered in Luxembourg. The Cargolux Group operates a fleet of 30 Boeing 747-400 and 747-8 purpose-built freighters, named after Luxembourg cities. Its site marks the airline's 50th anniversary with a retro livery on aircraft LX-NCL.

Services

Cargolux sells product lines for different cargo types:

• CV classic and CV jumbo for general and oversized cargo
• CV pharma for pharmaceuticals
• CV alive for live animals
• CV precious for art and high precision machinery
• CV power for the energy industry
• CV hazmat for dangerous goods
• CV fresh for perishables

It also offers charter services, maintenance sales, technical training and flight crew training.

Operations

Cargolux Italia, with a home base near Milan, operates four of the freighters. The airline also names Zhengzhou, China as its second hub. In June 2026 it partnered with Cathay Technologies to introduce an Electronic Flight Folder across its flight operations.
