About Caerdav

Caerdav is an independent maintenance, repair and overhaul company based at St. Athan in South Wales. The site says it is one of the few fully independent, fully approved MRO organisations in the UK. It was started by its Chairman, Bruce Dickinson.

The company works from a former RAF maintenance base. The site notes a 6,000 foot ILS runway and parking for up to 20 narrow body aircraft. Its modern facility, called Twin Peaks, holds technicians and engineers who are certified for base maintenance on Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Maintenance services include A checks up to heavy C checks, repairs, engine changes, landing gear changes and modifications. The site also lists component changes, composite repair, interior refits, end of lease transition work and in-house non destructive testing. Hangars have back shops for composite repair and paint services.

Caerdav sells more than maintenance. It runs an aviation consultancy and offers tool hire for Airbus and Boeing work. It also provides aircraft storage for airlines and lessors who need temporary parking. A separate apprenticeship academy is listed on the site.

The site names approvals from CAA, EASA, FAA, GACA, TCCA and Guernsey 2-REG for its Part 145 facility. It shares testimonials from customers that include Trade Air, TUI Airline, Ryanair and easyJet, and mentions an agreement with GE Aviation for CFM56-5B engine support for flyadeal.

The contact page gives the Twin Peaks address at Bro Tathan West, St. Athan, a phone number and a message form.

Caerdav also mentions modern hangars with back shops, and a range of refurbishment and care programs. Its modification work runs from simple cabin layout changes to STC projects. The site also has pages for FAQs, news, careers and its team.
