C4j Aviation

C4j Aviation is a consulting and airworthiness management company based in Basel, Switzerland. It works for leasing companies, airlines, business aircraft owners, banks and aviation brokers. Its multilingual team of aviation specialists serves clients around the world.

The company was founded in 2010 as CAMO4jets. In 2022 it changed its name to C4j Aviation. The change reflected its growth into a provider of integrated aviation engineering and airworthiness management. C4j Aviation has held an EASA Part-M Subpart G and I Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation approval since 2010. It also runs mid-term and pre-return audits, shadow CAMO and pre-purchase inspections. For distressed leases it helps with repossessions, airworthiness recovery and records rebuilding.

Airlines can hire C4j Aviation for subcontracted airworthiness management, from full engineering support to single CAMO tasks. Some airlines place C4j engineers inside their own teams. The company also prepares aircraft and records for lease return, and it can accept leased aircraft for an airline. Its engineering work includes maintenance programmes, minimum equipment lists, manuals and electrical load analysis.

Business and VIP aircraft operators get airworthiness management and maintenance planning. The company also manages VIP interior completion projects, using its knowledge of EASA and FAA certification. Its consulting work includes forming CAMO and engineering departments for start-ups, writing procedures and manuals, and managing approval processes with regulators.

Recent news says the company is adding a Boeing 737-800 to its managed fleet. It has also finished an EASA import airworthiness review of a Beechcraft 200 turboprop.
