About Blue Origin

Blue Origin is a US space company that builds rockets, lunar landers, spacecraft and engines. The company says it is building a road to space for the benefit of Earth. Its main programs are New Glenn, Blue Moon, TeraWave, Blue Ring, engines, exploration systems and LEO destinations. The company is also building a new manufacturing campus in Hutto, Texas, called Constellation Park, which it says will create 2,000 advanced jobs.

New Glenn is described as a giant, reusable rocket. The company is building a connected system in Florida to support more frequent launches. That system manufactures vehicles at scale, prepares customer payloads, supports reliable launch operations and returns reusable boosters to service quickly.

Blue Moon lunar landers provide high-cadence, low-cost access to the Moon. TeraWave provides space-based, reliable connectivity for critical operations. Blue Ring is an all-in-one, high-powered spacecraft.

Engines are designed for every mission, including the BE-7 lunar lander engine, which has been tested in a vacuum. Exploration systems include space mining robots and systems that collect and process samples. The company's Pneumatic Sampler, known as P-Sampler, launched aboard the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Martian Moons eXploration mission to collect surface material from Phobos.

LEO destinations are mixed-use destinations in low Earth orbit for commerce, research and tourism. Blue Origin has expanded a private-public partnership with the Air Force Research Laboratory's Rocket and Space Propulsion Division. The work aims to develop new rocket propulsion technologies.

The company posts news updates and keeps a gallery of its work. It has open positions, a supplier program, a media contact, a sustainability program and a shop.
