BCT Aviation Maintenance

BCT Aviation Maintenance Ltd is a UK CAA and EASA Part 145 approved line and base maintenance organisation headquartered at East Midlands Airport in Castle Donington, Derby, where it has been established for more than 20 years under founding member Robert Brown. Built on safety and reliability, it serves airlines, lessors and VVIP operators from five locations across the UK and Ireland, with engineers the company says draw on generations of knowledge from every layer of the industry.

Services

• Line maintenance, the company's core business, provided for more than 50 airlines worldwide including BA CityFlyer and Air India, with AOG support and day-to-day engineering operations; recent work includes line maintenance for the Turkish airline SunExpress at Manchester and Birmingham
• Base maintenance in Hangar 30 at East Midlands Airport, opened in January 2021, with UK CAA approval to extend C check capability to 84 months on Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 Classic and NG aircraft
• Lessor services including managed parking and storage, engine inspections, bridging checks, redelivery inspections and engineering support for livery work, with managed parking facilities at Shannon in Ireland and Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates
• Cabin modifications, engine changes and total engineering support for private owners, VVIP operators and ACMI operators

Locations

BCT operates from East Midlands Airport, Birmingham Airport, Manchester Airport, Shannon Airport and Dublin Airport, with its hangar at Hangar 30, Anson Road, East Midlands Airport. The company is a regular exhibitor at MRO Europe and is returning to the 2026 edition in Amsterdam on 28 and 29 October, and it recruits licensed B1 engineers for its East Midlands base.
