Axturis GmbH

Axturis GmbH builds software for flight operations from Salzburg, Austria. It is part of the Axturis Group, which is headquartered in Salzburg and Chicago. The group's software optimises flight planning workflows and gives real-time runway performance data.

The group has three companies. Axturis Technologies covers Europe and EMEA. Axturis Inc. covers the Americas. Axturis Flight Service runs flight operations and a 24/7 OCC, which is an operations control centre.

The main product is Anemos 5. It joins five modules on one platform: flight planning, monitoring, runway performance, optimisation and crew support. The software is API ready and IFPS compliant, and it holds data for more than 200 aircraft. It gives operators, brokers and other industry players quick access to valid routes and performance data. The group also offers a Mobile EFB and APIs.

Axturis describes three project areas. The first is flight planning and performance validation. Here it builds flight planning systems with performance modelling and automated suitability checks, so each flight meets regulatory and operational standards. The second is airline ecosystems and operational intelligence. Its platforms give real-time oversight of payload, aircraft status and fleet performance in one place.

The third area is AI optimisation and in-flight support. The group uses predictive AI to optimise flight paths and to forecast weather and traffic. It also sends live support over ACARS. The aim is to improve crew awareness and reduce operational risk. Its runway performance and payload logic work together to support safer and more efficient flight operations.

Axturis Inc. is the US arm of the group. It works with aviation and enterprise organisations on complex operational and technology problems. Beyond software delivery, it guides digital transformation, modernises older systems and designs scalable cloud-native architectures for airline and aerospace operations.

The group says that in five years it grew from a team of big data specialists into an aviation intelligence unit. It has worked closely with major US carriers. Its work sits where aviation operations, data science and software engineering meet.
