Aruba International Airport
Aruba International Airport, also called Reina Beatrix, is the main airport of Aruba, with flight information, passenger services and a Gateway 2030 expansion plan.
About Aruba International Airport
Aruba International Airport is the main airport of Aruba. Its Spanish name is Aeropuerto Internacional Reina Beatrix. The airport says its purpose is to connect Aruba to the world and to support the wellbeing of the country and its citizens. It describes itself as the primary gateway of the island.
The airport posts flight search tools for arrivals and departures, and monthly flight schedules. The airline list on the site includes American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United, KLM, TUI, Avianca, COPA, Latam and WestJet, along with local carriers such as Aruba Airlines and EZ Air. Destinations range from Amsterdam and Bogota to Miami, New York and Toronto.
Passenger services listed on the site include lost and found, a voluntary reporting system and VIP services. Visitors can find shopping, restaurants, bars and lounges. The site gives notices about U.S. bound passengers. They go through an Enhanced Passenger Processing queue for U.S. customs, and access to the U.S. check-in terminal is limited to three hours before departure.
The airport is building a growth program called Gateway 2030. Some shops and food outlets after security closed from May 2026 as part of its next phase. The site says they will move to other gate areas in the coming months.
In April 2004 the Aruba Airport Authority signed a strategic co-operation agreement with Schiphol International, a division of the Schiphol Group. The agreement aims to make full use of the airport's commercial potential and to help develop its facilities. The website has a contact page, a careers site and links to social media.
